Aloha. A2Y will remain on temporary hiatus until Thursday as I continue some brief travel. #9 on the Rivalry Depth Chart will be yours to view then and I’ll give you a few hints: (1) it’s not the Pens, not yet…(2) We’ve toned down our typical vocabulary, reduced it to words of two syllables or less so that the fans of this team can read it. Also, (3) so as not to offend this particular fanbase, there will be references to incest, roadkill cuisine, neck-less coaches or weddings in Walmart parking lots.
Back Thursday.

Are you SURE it’s not our West Virginia rivals from Pittsburgh?
Travel safely, Chief, I think there’s plenty of hate here to keep ourselves occupied. Of course, without photoshop, the hate is doesn’t come quite as easily as the last post of Paul ‘Hitchcock’ Bearer.

I’ll let you know if I hear anything good on the Sirius/XM inspired drive to work, as well.

Speaking of Zep..again.
I bought Beatles Rock Band. Not impressed. Great music, of course. Just not really challenging. Wondering if a Zep GH or RB is in the works.
Tony (of the Confluence): if you’re reading. The Pens fan CPO Selectee is about to have a rough two days. Those of the 19 with a Navy background know what I mean too.

Agreed, the season has to be close enough to avoid this…what with training camp going on and everything. Bertuzzi on the second line with Charlie Buckets and Zata…?
I thought that Mule and Z or Dats and Z…never really thought of Dats and Mule…have they really played much together?

I’m not talking the Beatles. I don’t have a problem with their music, but to me they’re “just ok”. I mean, I’m too young (28) to recognize what impact they may have had in their time, but the same can be said about Led Zeppelin and my age and I put Zep head and shoulders above those guys.
So, who wants to talk Corsi numbers?

I wonder what Rosby’s top 5 N’ Sync songs are
Posted by davo on 09/14/09 at 11:06 AM ET
I have the Beatles on the same place I have Hendrix: don’t like but respect it.
Maybe it’s because of the lamey way they’re marketed here (A Hard Day’s Night is called “The King of Yeah-yeah-yeah”), or because of poor sound quality, or it’s just not my thing.
But of course I have my favorites:
I Am The Walrus (by Jim Carrey)
Twist and Shout (by Ferris Bueller)

9) Can’t Buy Me Love
10) Strawberry Fields Forever

I think rosby’s favorite band isn’t N’Sync but the 3 little girls that go by the name “Hanson”. They were a disgrace to the 3 brothers of the same name from “SLapshot”, the movie classic featuring the late grate Paul Neuman, maker of great salad tossing dressings.

Posted by Lindas1st from New England on 09/14/09 at 02:04 PM ET
Hope you read that article HTT linked Chief. We have enough ammo for Bubba, but that article paid them their due about playing us hard.
Kanye needs to be shot in the knees. Anyone see the South Park episode that made fun of him?
I hope Williams can play goat because I don’t want a second line guy in Bert to play like Lang. I’m also disappointed that ManCrush will start as the third line center; he has earned second line minutes and that’s what it will take for him to really break out. But, yea, I get the “more balanced” scoring approach too.
It’s freaking gorgeous outside.

Don’t have much info as to who is playing for the Islanders tonight, as the game sheet I’ve been given basically includes every player who was invited to their camp.
As for Vancouver, captain/goaltender Roberto Luongo is not here. The two goalies listed are Andrew Raycroft and Corey Schneider.
Defensemen are as follows: Kevin Bieksa, Willie Mitchell, Aaron Rome, Brad Lukowich, Nolan Baumgartner, Yann Sauve, Shane O’Brien and Evan Oberg.
Forwards: Dave Scatchard, Ronald Petrovicky, Jannik Hansen, Rick Rypien, Michael Grabner, Kyle Wellwood, Alexandre Bolduc, Eric Walsky, Guillaume Desbiens, Mario Bliznak, Pierre-Cedric Labrie and Sergei Shirokov.
I got that here
No mention of Sammy

For the love of all that is holy, please go away. I’ve bitten my tongue all summer, but can’t take it anymore.
Lindas1st take your passive-aggressive drivel, your desire to be accepted where you are clearly not, and your smug Kumbaya “let’s get along” shite, and shove it sideways.
