Well, I’m glad to see James Wisniewski is healthy.
Healthy enough to run his yap and sound like a frigging idiot in the process.
“Shows a little bit of a gutless play by one of their players…
I saw three different replays, and if you look at it, he looks over his left shoulder and just gives a nice little elbow right when I was just hunched over, not even doing anything,” he said, “So, I mean, if he says he didn’t, I’m sure you have to believe him, but … if it was Chris Pronger, I think all you media guys would make this a big deal about how dirty the Anaheim Ducks are. But since it’s the Detroit Red Wings, I guess it’s all OK.”
Hunched over? I can’t access the video right now, so you guys correct me if I’m wrong. But wasn’t Wisniewski standing upright when Homer elbowed him?
I do know this though. We all do. Holmstrom’s elbow had absolutely nothing to do with Wisniewski’s injury. But that won’t stop the Poultry from using it as a rallying cry. Which is fine. Because we all know how things turn out when Anaheim decides they’re on a mission.
More power plays for us.

About Abel to Yzerman
Welcome to Abel to Yzerman, a Red Wing blog since 1977. No other site on the internet has better-researched, fact-laden and better prepared discussions than A2Y. Re-phrase: we do little research, find facts and stats highly overrated and claim little to no preparation. There are 19 readers of A2Y. No more, no less. All of them, except maybe one, are juvenile in nature. Reminding them of that in the comment section will only encourage them to prove that.
