Pretty good piece from Don Barrie of the Peterborough Examiner. Darren McCarty played there briefly back in ‘88.
...the Wings will be watching to see if Darren could be worth signing at the trade deadline in February.
His value to previous Red Wing teams has not been forgotten.
Is there any wonder all of Michigan and every Red Wing’s fan anywhere is pulling for Darren McCarty to get it together and make it back, all the way to the Wings?
Here in Peterborough those who remember the very personable and likeable Darren from those days 20 years ago, must also be on his side.
