So, I guess this statement from Mike Babcock last night…
“...it’s very obvious we don’t have a lot of natural goal scorers…”
...goes hand-in-hand with this refreshing ditty from Tick Tock Kenny Holland.
“He’s probably out awhile,” general manager Ken Holland said, “but I don’t know long awhile is.”
Yep, he’s talking about our boy Charlie Buckets (link to the glossary).
Speaking of Tick Tock. Just a heads-up, and this may conflict with Gary’s CBA, but the trade deadline doesn’t mean you’re restricted to trading only on trade deadline day. It’s the last day you’re allowed to trade.
So, you know, if you wanted to get creative and maybe text some of your BFFs, maybe get us a, I don’t know, goal scorer? That would be neat. Thanks.
Because ours are all injured (Cleary, Franzen, Fil, Williams) or in some sort of funk that has them sad, snake-bit and whiskey-dicked (Datsyuk, Son of Sam, Lidstrom).
