though Dom completely lost his cool after the Suter goal. All Arnott did was sway his fat arms and Dom spread his legs like cousin Cadence at the family barbecue.

Um, I am all for the Tigers winning every so often, but there is apparently some cosmic constant that dictates only one Mike Ilitch-owned team is allowed to play well at any given time.
Tigers 4-run 6th inning = Two Nashville 2nd period goals.
Tigers 6-run 8th inning = Three Nashville 3rd period goals.
Every two runs the Tigers scored directly resulted in one Nashville goal. N = 2T
The Tigers are allowed to win tomorrow, but somebody better hide their bats on Wednesday. Deal?

That should actually read T = 2N, where T = Tigers runs and N = Nashville goals. In case someone wants to put a hex on Bubba, you will need the correct formula.

Blown Lilja coverage or not, Hasek let his team down when they needed him to make a save there on the Arnott goal. Where was First Period Dom on that one?

How many odd man rushes did Bubba have in that game? 10? More? Dom came up big a few times in game 4. I’d have to say that they left him hanging in the second half of the 3rd. The Bubba was buzzing and the Wings couldn’t gain and maintain possession of the puck in the Bubba’s zone.
But yeah, it would have just sealed the deal if he’d snagged it.
