Who’s hot, who’s cold?
Hot—the top line. After stunning us all by combining for just 2 assists in the first 6 games, the Getzlaf-Perry-Kunitz line has combined for 6-11-17 in the last three games (with Getzlaf even missing a game).
Cold—Brendan Morrison. Burke’s curse of old Vancouver favorites maybe has struck again. 10 games, 1 assist, -5 (though Selanne’s been a bit slow also). Still, I’m a bit surprised. He looks decent enough on the ice, so I’m shrugging it off. He’s coming off some surgery or something.

Very stunning how well this mix of 4th liners has played. None of these guys have even been on for a single goal-against!!!

I, too, have the Poultry feed. I haven’t experienced the ice-level cam yet but look forward to whining about it.
Two weeks ago I mentioned that I was having Directv installed? I held off because of their installation prices. I’m glad I did because guess who came through for me today?

To at least be fair, don’t judge the crowd until the 2nd period. Getting to the HC by 7 pm on a workday is generally murder. Especially if you have to meet up with people.

Checking in…
Got home in time for the puck drop. The HD is no longer playing sound, so I have a Justin.tv link on the laptop providing audio to the HD feed (can’t do SD if there is an option, HD is that good for hockey).
For some reason, my TV thinks it is LA 60% of the time, because we are getting a hell of a lot of the Fisheye-HD rinkside cam shots.
Working on the anger… need more intoxicants and I’ll be good.
Oh yeah, let’s feast on some Poultry.
