Oh…Stooges backers made a late run, but Uncle Teddy was consistent throughout the afternoon and into the evening.

It’s a Live Blog bitches, and the game’s on Gary’s Closed Circuit NHL Network.  So post a feed if you got it.

No Tyler. They know they won the Cup. But this team seems to expect everyone else to bow at their feet.

Just in case no one has mentioned it…. it’s time to put Z, Dats and Hossa together for the 3rd.

So if we’re trailing by three, we should start getting th even-up calls going our way, right?

Right?

Man you guys are extra abrasive tonight. They just got back off the West Coast yesterday. Sure they’re capable of winning tonight but there is still something to say about those long arse trips having an effect.

Be nice if Little Gary’s justice worked to our advantage for once Andrew.

But I don’t know, I’d feel dirty getting a win that way.

Jen can’t be having too much fun tonite.

I’m going to have to sit her down and have a talking to with her.  If you check the records, broadcast, print, and blogs wink, the games I was at the Joe during the postseason were called some of the loudest crowds of the year.  No coincidence… I have a big mouth and get the other big mouths rallying for the cause.

Jen, one of the few ladies on the blog (where’s Baroque??) is letting Habs fans out-cheer us.  And the Douche Canoe pointing out the Habs chants just adds insult to injury.

At least the refs noticed our guys getting mugged in front of the net for once and called a PP.

The refs ain’t the reason for miserable play tonight.  The Wings need a cranial-rectal inversion delivered by Uncle Mike between periods.

Jen is the proverbial “whipping boy” for tonights debacle.  No more games at the JLA for her.  It is all her damn karma fault.

She will be the fan version of William Tell, drawing nothing but ire all year.  Poor girl, but she should have been cheering louder, so she deserves it.

How does one celebrate Thanksgiving in Fortress Europa??

By going to work, coming home and having turkey dogs and cranberry juice for dinner.  I don’t really hang out with the American expat crowd, so don’t get invitations for Thanksgiving dinners abroad.  Half the years I’m back home for Thanksgiving anyway—since it’s unknown here, my wife’s family doesn’t mind that we don’t spend Thanksgiving with them.  Conversely, being Jewish, Christmas has never been a big deal for my family, so we usually spend that one with her family.  Works well.

Let’s hope that shot’s broken Gorges’ ankle.  I’m still angry about his cross-checking Kopy and Hossa getting the penalty—that’s what’s led to this mess.

And Gorges does it again to Kopy.  Is that one being called?

Maybe the third period meltdowns will work against the Habs tonight and we can pull off a win.

A three-goal deficit and a Wings periodical third-period collapses.  Good god, I almost can’t even watch Real Time.

Well, looks like the improvements they’ve made since the Pens game have completely regressed in one night. Hopefully, one good thing will come from this game—they’ll learn from the Habs how to hold a 3+ goal lead.
