Update at 1335: I’d be interested to read your reactions to what just happened. Blast away if you think I should have gone with my instincts (that it was a typo). Frankly, I’m surprised this hasn’t happened (to me)before.
Updateat 1330: MacLeod just posted a correction.
My previous post said that Nicklas Lidstrom is expected to play Friday ... he is not expected to play. In fact, he’s out for three weeks.
That’s according to anti-digger Bruce MacLeod who blogged from the Wing practice about 90 minutes ago,
Nicklas Lidstrom (knee) is not on the ice and is expected to play Friday.
Honestly, there’s so little information there…and none anywhere else…that I almost think it could be a typo. I’ve email’d MacLeod to ask that specific question. He’ll probably reply with, “I wrote it didn’t I?”, which will be fine with me.
More from Red Wing Corner, including upates on Rafalski, Kronwall and Hasek.

About Abel to Yzerman
Welcome to Abel to Yzerman, a Red Wing blog since 1977. No other site on the internet has better-researched, fact-laden and better prepared discussions than A2Y. Re-phrase: we do little research, find facts and stats highly overrated and claim little to no preparation. There are 19 readers of A2Y. No more, no less. All of them, except maybe one, are juvenile in nature. Reminding them of that in the comment section will only encourage them to prove that.
