Pretty sure every one of you has H1N1, which is why I’ve kept my distance today. Oh, I was tempted. The discussion that just wouldn’t end about points and won/losses and hookers…a thriller.
Thank god it’s almost game time on Little Gary’s Closed Circuit TV Station.
It’s Gary’s world. If one accurate thing was uttered today that was it. The little troll’s got us by the nads.
So we might as well Live Blog this bitch.

Need to go door to door to tell everyone you’re a pederast? There’s a map for that.

Good win.

WOO!, good game Ozzy and the rest of the “not quite past their prime” players

SHUT-THE-FUCH-UP for Ozzie. Sweetness.

50 shutouts isn’t elite.
Wings looked horrible in their own zone.
Injuries are going to keep haunting the Wings.
Next.

We got the shutout. Mistakes were made. But we got the shutout.
This will be what the rest of the year is like. Gramps won’t be happy because the kids will screw things up. And so will Jimmah. But we will win the gritty matches and have some sandpaper for the postseason.
And let’s not forget our depth stepping up. Show me another team that can lose the scoring we have in the offseason and still have the potential compete with the league’s best nightly.

Funny how that works, much sloppier game than last

Posted by stayouttamalibu from Temporarily in Tempe, AZ on 11/03/09 at 09:32 PM ET
Sloppy, sloppy game.
Happy for OZ, but this is the Detroit Red Wings, and he should not have to play that hard.

He and Datsyuk are just lucky to be on the same team as Holmstrom.

No this is half of the Red Wings we know, and the other half prospects and call-ups. And yet we got the shut out. And we won a tough game in Calgary. And we got the shut out.
Gramps, I think you’re great, but as King Optimist around here, I have to give you a nickname. Eeyore.

Could someone photoshop Eeyore a Wings sweater? Gramps looks cold.

Don’t worry Gramps. They’re bound to lose another one sometime soon. All will be right in your world again.

Toronto ties it up late in the third. We got a game in T.O.

After last regular season and a few games this year, I’m just happy to see Osgood bail out the Wings in the regular season a few times than the Wings always having to bail him out.
The Bruins missed on a bunch of good chances but the defense was good enough and Osgood was outstanding. He’s a great pro because he acknowledges when he was getting some bounces like he did on his interview.

Hey, don’t think for a minute that I’m unhappy they won.
That is just hockey.
First you lose a few that you should have won because of hot goaltending.
Then you lose a couple you deserve to lose.
Then you win a couple you didn’t necessarily deserve, and everything
turns around and you go on a hot streak. We have all seen it before.
Keeping your feet on the ground anchored in reality does not make you a pessimist.
but,
unreasonably celebrating a lucky win as if you won it all is rather juvenile. BITCHES.
