Tonite? A final word from the youngest Brady sister.
I watched the game last night in a Newport Beach sports bar with about 30 fellow staffers, and there was a mix of reactions when that final horn sounded on the season. Some gazed at the TVs in disbelief. Some stared at their feet. A couple of the girls even cried. All of us felt sick to our stomachs. “Well,” a friend of mine said somewhat crudely, “at least we didn’t go down like [expletive]s.”
You mean like...bitches?
Yeah you did. That’s exactly what your team did and it’s exactly the way they played the whole series. Like a bunch of bitches.
Now I’m done.
Bring on the Hawks.

If the Wings were so superior and the Ducks were a “bunch of bitches”, then why did it take Detroit seven games to beat Anaheim?
I don’t understand how you can go on and on about how the Ducks are a one-line team full of bitches ... they suck ... blah, blah, blah. Yet, they took your Wings to a Game 7. To me, that says more about the heart of you team than the skill level of the Ducks. If your boys have that much trouble with a one-line team, what are they going to do in the Cup Finals against the Penguins?
I suppose if the Wings beat the Pens in the Finals again, you be ranting about how shitty the Penguins are. That would make a lot of sense.
Why don’t you give credit where credit is due? The Ducks are a good team—have been for three or four years now—and the Wings beat them. You should be proud of the fact that the Wings beat a good team and not a bunch of bitches.

If you watched every game of the series, you’d see that every Anaheim victory involved the Ducks having to give every ounce of what they had to squeak out a victory while three of the Wings four victories looked like cakewalks. The only reason game seven was so close was because of terrible officiating.
Why don’t you give credit where credit is due?
That is a good point. The Ducks defense was very good this series. Without them, Hiller’s career might be over from sheer shell-shock.

How has ‘BARSTOOL GATE’ not reached MSM? This is simply amazing to me. Did I just miss it or is it being completely ignored? By MSM I mean ESPN/FOX etc. Usually since ESPN doesn’t cover hockey they love to jump on something of this nature to show how crappy our sport is to them. I guess I’ll just have to wait for Avery in some gay sun glasses and pinstriped suit for ESPN to show hockey news.
P.S. I’m enjoying the Tigers game after a 2nd rain delay. There is pretty much nobody in the stadium so you can hear every heckler. Is that what it was like 2 years ago at the United Center?
I’m going to Game 1 so I hope the Hawks can make it there. I’m just worried the wheels are gonna fall off the bandwagon somewhere on I-94.
