We’re going early and I have my reasons.
With a win tonite, the Wings head home with 6/10. Still…the most depressing, disgusting, hazardous-to-your-pets road trip any of us can remember.
Noted.
Nobody cares what the rival bloggers are saying, or the MSM. Nothing would bring more joy to more people than a disastrous Detroit season.
But the bandwagon is getting light and the time is coming. You’re either in or you’re out. There’s a difference between being a passionate fan who takes losses personally, and being a “Wing fan” who seems to literally enjoy the struggles of the past month to confirm your own agenda. Read that again if you have to. Blasting the Wings for poor play is one thing and it’s expected. Reveling in it behind the facade of being a “real fan” is bullshit.
Nobody’s being banned from this site. That talk is tiresome. But when the Wings turn this around, we’ll see who climbs back aboard. When it’s no longer easy to pretend you know more than Mike Babcock, we’ll take a look back to October and see who stuck and who fled.
These Wings have given us a lot of amazing memories for much more than a decade. They deserve the benefit of the doubt and a lot of frigging rope.
Those who stay will be rewarded. I know this. Do not give up on this team.

I don’t like these icings. At least do the “Larry Murphy Icing” where you send the puck airborne and it bounces in the zone erratically.

Nice forecheck by Z and Cleary. Although unsuccessful in that Calgary still took our zone, we kept them to the side of the ice we wanted and controlled the pace. The effective left-wing lock has been missing since the Cup season.

My son, Christian—see avatar—went to see U2 just a couple weeks ago at the OU stadium, they were in the pit, 10 feet from the band He said it was amazing.
