The Wings are on fire, despite their mediocre coach.  Jimmah’s in net, because Chris Osgood’s got flu-like symptoms…again.  Maltby’s healthy as a horse but he’s riding pine because Uncle Mike wants to keep it all the same.

So…things are looking all rosey.  Except for the fact that it’s Saturday and Saturdays around here tend to suck long and hard.

But we’ll live blog this bitch anyway.  Oh, and we’re playing “Hit Me Mick” too.  Rules are here:

The following occurrences require you finish whatever beverage you have in front of you.  There can be no exceptions and no excuses.  Your “partner” may not assist you.

· Mickey Redmond’s wink to open the telecast
· A Todd Bertuzzi shot off the glass
· A fight
· A hat trick
· Any time Ken has to defend the referees or the league
· Any time Larry Murphy doesn’t finish a sentence. 
· Mick says “BC two hander”
· Billy Joel’s “One, two…One, two, three, four”
· Billy Joel’s “It’s 9 O’clock on a Saturday”
· Any mention of Larry Murphy’s two-game goals, but no hat trick (NOTE:  any reference to Murphy’s playing career from Ken or Mick is one drink)
· If Mick, Ken or Larry bring up the Little Caesar’s giggle fest from the other night

Take a swig!
Any time Mickey utters any of the following phrases, you must drink. 

· This is no place for a nervous person
· Hold it right there gang…or any time Mickey says “gang”
· Wait ‘til you see this replay!
· Datsyukian (Ken or Mick)
· Oh…my….goodness
· A Redmond chuckle with no explanation
· Any “new NHL” reference
· Any reference to composite sticks
· Chintzy
· Is that the rule now?
· Any reference to Chris Pronger
· Use of the term “Game 7”
· Use of the word “flu”
