Yep. Back to Seger. Back to what we know, what we’re comfortable with. What brings Tick Tock that similar level of comfort, that warmth? Well, naturally…Chris Osgood.
“We won the Stanley Cup with him, so he always had the inside track,” Holland said. “It’s been an inconsistent year for our team, and an inconsistent year for Chris Osgood. However, in the last month I think his game is where we need it to be heading into the playoffs.”
Holland’s lying, of course. Osgood’s game is not “where we need it to be”. It’s just not. We’ve seen flashes of goodness (it’s never greatness with Osgood. Sorry, but it’s not.), but nothing so consistent that Holland views goaltending as a non-issue.
Whatever. Nothing we can do about it now. It’s live and die with Ozzie bitches. And it’s a Live Blog. Hopefully the 16 people with cable in Tennessee who are actually watching the game tonite shoot their sets out of frustration following a convincing reminder that Daddy’s serious.

Back to Seger, appropriate after the Wild West post.
How’s the swagger Chief?

16 is a little generous Chief. Unless they all live in the same house.

working on one for the pinky
I don’t know man. I’m thinking, at this point, it’s one for the middle finger.

I can’t liveblog tonight because I have derby practice. So I’m trying to set the Tivo but there’s only one feed. Does anybody know what feed they’ll be using? I’ll shoot myself if I have to listen to the Bubba feed.

Should be FSD for the home game, Jen.
SHOULD. If not, there’s a small pet or 2 that are going to encounter a premature final judgement.
Posted by MOWingsfan19 on 04/09/09 at 06:14 PM ET
J.J. - problem is I’m in Cinci so sometimes they give us the Fox Sports South feed. UGHHHHHH.
Posted by Jennemy of the Skate from putting the b*tches in the box on 04/09/09 at 06:14 PM ET
Well, I set the tivo. We’ll see what happens. If I hear one second of Bubba when I replay it later, I may have to hurt somebody. Have a good live blog 19!
Posted by Jennemy of the Skate from putting the b*tches in the box on 04/09/09 at 06:16 PM ET
I’m praying for your sake that they give you the Detroit feed. 90% of the time, we get whatever’s coming out of St. Louis and on rare occasions, they’ll give us a Dallas or *shudder* Colorado feed.

Go Wings! Dangle with 3 points tonight!

Hola Bitches, 50 mph winds and wildfires galore in the Hades known as OKLA today = kinda friggin scarry
Posted by Jeff OKWingnut from Quest for 12 on 04/09/09 at 06:17 PM ET
Why do I feel like I’ve read that same exact post before?
Well, a win tonight has a pretty good chance of being a great win, considering the Predators situation. They always play hard and will be desperate tonight…
Posted by Tyler from Arizona on 04/09/09 at 06:17 PM ET
I’ll also be missing the LB, but I’m hoping I actually get to make use of the full-game archive that I got for paying for NHL Gamecenter Live. Ever since I found out about this archive, the Wings have lost every time I have to work during a game.
Because come on, who wants to watch their favourite team lose? Especially after they get home from a long day at work. I want to use this, so come on Big Red Machine, get it done!

If he can maintain his Top-10 positioning through tonight’s game against Nashville and a pair of weekend contests with Chicago, the Wings will be the first team to have three players (Nick Lidstrom, Brian Rafalski) in the top 10 in scoring amongst blue-liners since the 1974-75 Montreal Canadiens’ trio of Serge Savard, Larry Robinson and Guy Lapointe.
Nice work by the Diggers, eh?

Well, what the hell…..if it’s good enough for Holland, it’s good enough for me.
Pass the Kool-Aid.
If it’s all the same to you guys, I’ll be mixing some rum in mine for the next little bit.
You know, just until the Kool-Aid kicks in.

Evenin’, 19.
Keep the hose handy Jeff - and no, that’s not a euphemism.
I don’t think.
Anyway, a lengthy pre-playoff motivational vid. inbound…

Hellloooooo Bitchesszzzzzzz!!
Will the SEASONWREAKERS show up again tonight after Terminating the Wild and the Sabres?
Tall order, and I can’t believe that psychotic Me is saying this, but having hurdled the 50 win plateau for the 4th straight season I’m just fine with no one getting injured between now and Sunday even if we lose all three… Say Whattttt???

My email from IN DEMAND says the feed is Fox Sports Detroit, but they’ve been wrong before.

Mike Babcock, talking about Ericsson’s performance: “Well, it was good, but he’s got the bad hand. He wasn’t able to do what he normally does, because he would do it with the other hand.” 2:15
I think that’s funny, anyways.

Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. ![]()
Here’s hoping for a nice win - or failing that, a competitive, well-played loss with no injuries.

I’m really jacked, I have a 22 oz. Lagunitas Maximus IPA chilling down in the freezer (not fast enough however) the Wings are on, and there’s a Friggin LB with you Hosers. The only thing that could make this better is Elisha C riding me like a 25 cent electric pony outside K-Mart.

Let ‘em keep talking about our goaltending. I’m perfectly content reading two months worth of MSMers picking against our boys because a guy working on one for the pinky hasn’t been on top of his game all year.
