Yep. Back to Seger. Back to what we know, what we’re comfortable with. What brings Tick Tock that similar level of comfort, that warmth? Well, naturally…Chris Osgood.
“We won the Stanley Cup with him, so he always had the inside track,” Holland said. “It’s been an inconsistent year for our team, and an inconsistent year for Chris Osgood. However, in the last month I think his game is where we need it to be heading into the playoffs.”
Holland’s lying, of course. Osgood’s game is not “where we need it to be”. It’s just not. We’ve seen flashes of goodness (it’s never greatness with Osgood. Sorry, but it’s not.), but nothing so consistent that Holland views goaltending as a non-issue.
Whatever. Nothing we can do about it now. It’s live and die with Ozzie bitches. And it’s a Live Blog. Hopefully the 16 people with cable in Tennessee who are actually watching the game tonite shoot their sets out of frustration following a convincing reminder that Daddy’s serious.

About Abel to Yzerman
Welcome to Abel to Yzerman, a Red Wing blog since 1977. No other site on the internet has better-researched, fact-laden and better prepared discussions than A2Y. Re-phrase: we do little research, find facts and stats highly overrated and claim little to no preparation. There are 19 readers of A2Y. No more, no less. All of them, except maybe one, are juvenile in nature. Reminding them of that in the comment section will only encourage them to prove that.
