Joel Quenneville just can’t get enough can he? After years perfectly playing a specific role with two teams we’ve consistently and enjoyably destroyed…he’s been selected to lead “the next rival.”
Selected by who(m)?
We can assume can’t we? Sure we can. You know who it was. Scotty. And for that? You are still our hero.
Exactly. Back for a reprise? It’s Joel “Jody Girl” Quenneville, starring as…Wing Bitch.
Hence the post title for a game that doesn’t include Chicago. Don’t worry. I’ll be bringing it back.
On to tonite. An early beginning to the Live Blog, which I know you enjoy. I get DirectTV tomorrow. The day that all returns to normal after something like 16 months without hockey on a big fat screen. But tonite?
I’m still screwed. Hey, anybody got a link to a feed?

Thanks Nate. That’s not great news.
Neither is the fact that we still have yet to score on a five-on-three this season. Oh well…still get some PP time on clean ice to start the third. But since it’s intermission, I’m going back to bed. Here’s to a storming last period and another mark in the W column.

2nd Intermission? Check. Murph slurring his way through his analysis? Check.

Now would be a wonderful time for Hossa to break the dry spell.

Nice back check from Fil . Lord Rangers score again, we look terrible since the start of the third. Scrambling all over the place. Rangers are good down low and behind the net. NUTS!!!

We haven’t found 4th gear this year… sputtering along in 3rd per say.
Late to the party tonight, been working in the wood shop all day. But had the game on the dust covered TV out in da shop….

Nice elbow by Cleary but the ref saw it Rangers on the PP. Nice to get a shorty right now! Great 2 on 1 chance with hossa and dats but it didn’t go in.

My net craps out again and I come back to find we’re down 4-3?!?

Nice work with Datsyuks line there. Improvement has to start line by line shift by shift.

We have lost too many faceoffs, we don’t do that very often.
Posted by hankyspanky40 from Michigan on 10/18/08 at 08:12 PM ET
ugh, D is standing around. has it been like this thru the entire 3rd?
Posted by Nate A from Detroit-ish on 10/18/08 at 08:12 PM ET
I agree with Mickey, lose or not, get angry and play angry.
Posted by calquake on 10/18/08 at 08:14 PM ET
two non calls on Homer and Hossa. Ouch Fil got drilled. We are playing with more urgency.
Posted by hankyspanky40 from Michigan on 10/18/08 at 08:17 PM ET
The MSG guys are trying to defend that to many men. Nevermind that the guy coming off the ice took a pas while the guy he replaced was clearly standing at the gate still on the replay.
Why is no one feeding the FSN?

About time that lil dude scored for my fantasy team!

Kronwall pulled a aaron ward with going for the big hit, missing and taking himself out of the play and handing them a scoring chance. glad they didn’t capitalize.

Fil reminds me of Stevie on those plays…. Just sayin’
Posted by MOWingsfan19 on 10/18/08 at 08:26 PM ET
going into OT. rangers have to be the more tired team with so many games in so many nights plus a back to backer. Hossa is busting butt just not getting rewarded for it yet.
Posted by hankyspanky40 from Michigan on 10/18/08 at 08:29 PM ET
For once we win one in OT! Tell me this sparks the team.
Posted by Nate A from Detroit-ish on 10/18/08 at 08:31 PM ET
Sweet win, nice pass from datsyuk to set up hossa with the game winner. me loves it!!!
Posted by hankyspanky40 from Michigan on 10/18/08 at 08:32 PM ET

hossa says ’ for sure, thank God’ about being happy he scored his 300th, first as a wing and game winner. lol
