By now you’ve heard that for “cautionary reasons”, Brian Rafalski’s sitting out tomorrow’s slump-ender with the BJs. Naturally, that news has your family in a bit of a tailspin this evening.
Understandable. But, I’d venture to tell you this line from former Deep Digger captain Ted Kulfan may have the kids running for cover.
So Quincey, Meech and Lebda on the back end tomorrow night.
Ya think Uncle Mike might be giving a little thought to how he can get Nick Lidstrom, oh, 35 minutes of ice time tomorrow?

Don’t be too surprised if this cautionary move were being used as a methodology for showcasing possible trade bait in the form of Meech & Quincey.
We are nearing the deadline, and this would give Rafalski a breather while presenting Quincey & Meech on the blueline.
I don’t even doubt that a trade for Fedorov could be in talks right now. What better way to promote your trade bait than to play them against a potential trading partner.
Okay, I’m putting the tinfoil hat back on now.

That is an amazing array of nicknames. Did I miss those in the glossary? Any chance of an expanation?
Also, Thunderpriest, that’s a very good observation. However I’m still in panic mode.
And the Ducks game still hurts. I haven’t gotten over it yet.

”...tomorrow’s slump-ender with the BJs…”
You know, I think that’s my favorite part of this post, upon reflection.
