Widdle Patty Was Maaaaaaad

God I need to frigging grow up.  Remember when Mule swiped Patrick Kane’s mouthguard and threw it on the ice?  ‘Member?

Reaction from MacLeod.

“It was right there, couldn’t resist,” said Franzen.
Dan Cleary can be seen smiling in the Youtube vid.
“I’ve never seen that,” said Cleary. “It was only the three of us, the ref, the linesman, that really had a good feel for it. It was just funny how the whole thing went down. He (Kane) was mad.”

So mad that he….skated away.

Awesome.  And more importantly, MacLeod’s post-practice update is a little more optimistic regarding Datsyuk and The Swede.

Chief.

We need to dispatch Anaheim-lite and their crack-smoking fans.  Time they got banished back to the north side where they can blissfully enjoy their Peter Cetera compilations.  He is, after all, a Rock God.

Right.

Serves Kane right for always sticking the stupid thing out of his mouth.  It was hilarious.

Should have been an interference call on Franzen

Well, you’d skate away from the 6’3’‘, 220-lb Mule too.

And Cal, I don’t care about Peter Cetera, so long as I don’t have to hear Chelsea Dagger ever again.  I can’t stand that song, and it makes one of the lousiest sports on Earth (soccer) even worse.

The video is too darn funny.

Kane has the sympathy of every two year old that has ever had a pacifier snatched away by an older sibling.

Hey Andrew, did the proxy pussy every re-appear and stand up behind his offer? I’d say a c-note would be a nice donation to Paul given hat being passed around and all. Hell, the trool stands up for himself, I’ll chip in a few more bucks on top of my previous sendings and match his donation.

Meanwhile, winger Patrick Kane was still chuckling over an incident in Game 4 during which Wings center Johan Franzen ripped Kane’s mouthguard out of his mouth and threw it to the ice while the two were jawing at each other following a stoppage of play behind the Wings net.

“I’m kind of whacking the goalie (Ty Conklin) and [Franzen] comes in and just takes the mouthpiece and throws it,” said Kane, who often skates around the ice chewing on his mouthguard instead of having it in his mouth. “You never really think he was going to come up and grab your mouthpiece and throw it out. It was kind of surprising at first. The ref was right there so I was hoping he was going to call something, maybe a misconduct. I was kind of asking the ref a little bit for that.

“It’s kind of surprising. It’s never happend before.”

Kane told me, “it’s pretty funny, check it out on Youtube.”

I give Kane credit, he didn’t complain and seems amused by it, at some level (publicly anyways)...

huge hossa fan, but at the same time, i don’t want us to keep him at the expense of our ridiculous depth. I think we’ll let him go this summer, and I think with Quinn in charge of the oilers he’ll get the team club to go hard after Hoss.  Imagine Hoss and Ales Hemsky on the same team. I think they’d be pretty damn good. it’d be interesting anyway.

Not a peep, MO, though you can color me unsurprised.  Don’t know what we’re talking about?  See here, though I’m really only interested in one person reading it and not reneging on his bet.  How about it Lurker?  You’ve taken advantage of Paul Kukla’s free site to bait Wings fans…now maybe you can return his generosity and help him out.

‘Lurker?’ We’re all waiting…

I got a C-note that says they don’t get out of the 2nd round.  You want some action - put your money where your mouth is.  You or anyone else.

As I recall Lurker, SOMEBODY DID take you up on that offer.  I know you’re here—you came back to taunt us last week.  Jiri Fischer wants another defibrillator, bitch.

At least one of the Hawks wasn’t listening to Coach Q’s instructions to lose their cool at any and all opportunities.

Of course, this was after his end-of-first-period spearing incident…

There’s really no question, unless Hoss is willing to take less than what Mikael Sammuelson is making this year, because otherwise there’s really no way the Wings can swing that deal without sacrificing depth big time.

I’ll tell you what—If I win, I’ll still pay your donation and you don’t put in a dime.

Oops!  I just found this on the same thread.  Lurker never agreed to it, but I was wondering how much to put in, guess this cements it.  Emperor, it’s on its way.  Lurker, you owe me your half of the wager:

But I would like something in return—if I win, you leave this site and everyone here alone.

Stay wherever you’ve been gone to, f*ck off and never bother The 19 again.

10 or 11 more beautiful years of the Mule. So much to look forward to…..just great. Half the bench was wondering who the first one to yank that mouthguard was going to be….credit to Franzenstein.

His ability to laugh at himself is one of the main reasons I like Kane so much other than his unbelievable talent that is - no seriously.. I know he hasn’t really shown it this series.. but he’s really really good.  Go watch Game 6 of the last series.

His insanely young and insanely small for the NHL - what else can he do but laugh when a large man takes your mouthguard?  Here’s hoping for another hat-trick tonight.
