Bruce MacLeod has the local FSN schedule here:

This is important, because Ken Daniels and Mickey Redmond are better announcers and know the team better than the VS network guys.

Mickey Redmond is without question the best color analyst in the game.

According to AD MacLeod:

An easy-to-remember every-other-day schedule against Nashville.

Game 1, Thursday, 7 p.m., at Detroit, FSN, Versus

Game 2, Saturday, 2 p.m., at Detroit, NBC

Game 3, Mon. Apr. 14, TBA, at Nashville, FSN, Versus

Game 4, Wed. Apr. 16, TBA, at Nashville, FSN, Versus

Game 5, Fri. Apr. 18, 7:30 p.m., at Detroit, FSN, Versus

Game 6, Sun. Apr. 20, 3 p.m., at Nashville, NBC

Game 7, Tues. Apr. 22, TBA, at Detroit, FSN

And from George James Malik:

WDIV’s Katrina Hancock stated after the game that they’ll air pre-game and post-game coverage after the Wings’ NBC games, but the NHL’s rules and regulations regarding the 1st and 2nd round are simple: aside from the NBC games, which are exclusive to that network, home teams’ TV stations broadcast every other game until the third round begins, so Fox Sports Detroit will take care of Detroit’s home-town fans.

Good news to still get coverage from Ken and Mick!

The Sharks and Flames have Games 1 and 2 back-to-back as well, talk about beating the snot out of each other in a short span.

Also, for those of us who have Versus, Game 4 of the Wings will be shown in progress, so there’s a decent chance we’ll be left out of the beginning og the 1st period.

LOVE IT!! I CAN’T WAIT!!

Ken and mick are the only way to watch the wings as every other media outlet (ESPECIALLY H.N.I.C.) hate the red wings with a strangely high bias level. NBC broadcasts are nearly unwatchable.
I may have to give ken and paul a turn on the radio, see how it works. turn down the audio on the t.v. and listen to radio instead!??
This would be a good stat to keep track of: have some brave fans watch NBC & HNIC and count all of the negative comments made RE: the red wings? last year i blacked out CBC because of how negative they were on the wings during the calgary series.
I loved sundays broadcast when NBC basically said the wings will go nowhere in the playoffs and then gave a shinny glowing piece on the blackhwaks who didn’t even make the playoffs (again!).

What in progress?  That’s baloney.  Great, I’m sure since Versus has it it will be blocked out on Center Ice.  Hmm, exactly what did I pay for this year with Center Ice?  How many Wings games did I lose because of the NHL Network and now this?

Stress?  What stress?

I’ve tried that.  The time lapse between what’s on TV and what’s on radio blows, but Ken and Paul beat the snot out the NBC and VS. yahoos.

I wish Mick could get a dual contract thing going between FSN-D and NBC or VS., or all three.  The guy deserves it.

Bonus:  He actually knows what he’s talking about.  Try setting him loose on a national audience.

Chic, Game 4 is likely to start at 9pm while the Rangers/Devils Game 4 will start at 7pm on the same day. Versus on their schedule posted that they will join the Wings game after the Rangers/Devils game.

If any of those FSN games are blacked out on Center Ice, I will flip out, and I will hurt people. Probably after my seventh beer at the bar where I’ll be craning my neck to watch the games in silence.

I have already taken the liberty of informing my fiancee that I cannot be held responsible for my actions during the playoffs. She’s always telling me that I need to settle down and not get so loud, but I told her that during the playoffs, all bets are off!!

As far as I know, Center Ice won’t show any of the games on Versus, so the Wings being on CI is very doubtful since Versus and NBC have the rights to every game. Last year during the playoffs, CI only showed the games that Versus didn’t pick up.

My favorite saying of Mickey’s is “The BC 2-hander”.
Here is a compilation of some of his quotes:

More Mickeyisms.

I keep forgetting Mick does have health problems though - probably makes it impossible for him to do anything more than what he’s doing now.  Which is fine as long as he sticks around for awhile.

Anyone else says “Bingo Bango,” and I’ll stab him.

“Join In Progress”?  WT MF F?  I wonder if it will be viewable on a Center Ice channel.

I muted that CBC Ba8tard 2 years ago in the Edmonton series and listened to audio streaming.  Good thing with the DVR you can freeze-frame it just after the puck is dropped and wait for the audio to catch up.

Will VERSUS have their own crew, or use the home tv crew or the visiting tv crew?  Damn I can’t wait to hear Bubba talk about “Holnstrun.”

I do the same thing often when Brent Mussberger does Michigan football.  There’s already enough stress without having jacka** Red Wing haters doing the play by play.

My daughters know not to be anywhere around me during Red Wings playoff games or Michigan football, it’s hazardous to their health or ear drums.

WTF is “32” the key password today?  pol32icy

TV tip:  When watching The Office in HD, try to freeze-frame Pam when the lights catch that twinkle in her come-hither eyes and catches her lips slightly parted in a smile, then go to town.  Works every time.

Well, except if the Wings lose Thursday night I ain’t gettin it up no matter how erotic the freeze-frames of Pam are.  “If your psyche is iffy you ain’t gettin a stiffy”.

My daughter often asks me why it takes so long for me to watch a playback of The Office. I think you know now.

LMAO!!! the code word below is “19firm” - what an omen - 19 is obviously code for “Red Wings” and “firm” means I’ll be in good shape watching the recording of Pam, err The Office, so it must be a Wings victory Thursday!

After my pillow throwing episode during last year’s WCF, everyone knows to give me a wide berth during playoff viewing.  I invite people over but always with the caveat - at your own risk.

At least this is the time of year when NASN shines—they carry ALL the playoff games, if not live, then as-live repeated.  The fact that they seem to have a love affair with the Wings going (or maybe it’s the European viewers that vote for the games who do) doesn’t hurt, but the coverage of the rest of the year is so sketchy.  So the great coverage of the playoffs almost makes up for the pretty crappy coverage the rest of the year.  If that made any sense whatsoever.

Of course, the point is moot when you’re swilling too much wine with a sixty year-old mother-in-law and trying to learn Irish from her retired nuclear physicist neighbor.

I’m almost hoping it goes to six games just so I can see more than one game of the series. (The infernal idiots at Time Warner Cable don’t carry Versus.)

Wait, what am I saying? I don’t think I really need that extra stress. I’ll take Wings in four, settle for reading recaps, and like it.

I have FSN, but not (@#*! %*@) VS; so this is a big deal to me.  FSN’s website indicates a 6pm pregame show, 6:30 Tiger’s pregame followed by Tigers v. Red Sox at 7pm.  So is anybody sure that we are getting an FSN broadcast in Detroit???

I bet the Tigers get moved to FSN Detroit Plus while the Wings game is on the regular channel.  That’s how they usually do it.

Playoff tip for homeowners…..Spray everything green in your yard with Roundup, that will kill it back. It won’t regrow until after Lidstrom hoists the Cup. Every hour you spend working in the yard is an hour you can’t watch the playoffs.

Just sprayed 15 gallons myself,(he said proudly).
