Bad news, and ZERO points

Pascal Leclaire is finished for the season. So, what do we do? We keep going. Mason is carrying our team right now, he’s the goaltender that we are going to make the playoffs with, we just need to go for it. I hate that Leclaire is injured, I honestly do. But, I think he will come back next season, and will be a valuable asset for us. I know, people are saying he’s just playing the backup role, but I think we still need him for next season. We have Dubie for this season.
Steve Mason is backing out of the YoungStars game. He is having back spasms, which explains a lot. He will use the time to rest, and get health. The kid needs a break, I don’t even remember the last time he had a night off. Maybe tomorrow in Calgary Dubie will play, just to give him an extra game. I heard that the NHL big guys are not too pleased with the decision to skip Montreal, but I don’t blame Howson, Hitch or Mason. It’s about the team, not some game, that doesn’t even matter.
The Jackets had a good game tonight. We gained the lead, and allowed Hemsky to beat us. We were less than a minute away from at least getting a point. That point was something we desperately needed, but we hae another game tomorrow against the Calgary Flames. Here are some random thoughts on the game before I go to bed.
*Now that we know something is wrong with Mason you notice it more. Poor kid, has the team on his shoulder.
*Bad decision to put in Backman, I blame him for the goal that tied it up.
*Justin Williams is outstanding. He has been great the last couple of games.
*Hemsky is a beast. Four points tonight, you can’t take your eye off of him when he is on the ice. He could have had a hat trick.
*Roloson is ridiculous. What was with him going after Boll with his BLOCKER? Drop ‘em if you wanna fight!
*And, this video is for my mom! Happy Birthday
