Norrena has been assigned to Syracuse. It’s sad to see him go out this way, but to be honest, I’m not surprised. His play hasn’t been the same, and you know what he is capable of, but for whatever reason he’s not showing us.
I don’t think he is going to report to Syracuse, more than likely he returns to Europe to play.
Norrena played 100 games in the NHL, all with Columbus. He had a 35-45-11, with a .899 save percentage and a 2.79 goals-against average.
Like I said, sad to get him go out this way.
In other news, my finals will be over on Thursday. Then, I will have more time to devote to blogging, until then, please just bare with me.
Derek Dorsett has been cleared to come back. That means he might be in the game tomorrow. Thank the hockey gods. We have been missing him quite a bit, glad he healed quickly.
If you haven’t checked out the Breaking Down the Game videos on the Blue Jackets website, check it out.
Here is the video for the Islanders and Blackhawks.
As for the game tomorrow, Steve Mason is in net. Pascal Leclaire is expected to start on Thursday against the Dallas Stars.
That’s all for the day, back to studying for this girl.

I hope the best for Norrena, whereever he may go.
And good luck on your finals. I have to say I DO NOT miss them

I feel bad for Freddy. He has my best wishes. A couple of years ago he really helped the team. I understand why the Jackets needed to do this though. Mason is awesome and we want to win!
