Bye *insert name here*

The Blue Jackets have Freddy Modin back in the lineup.  That means that either Picard or Dorsett will be sent down before the game.  Picard has to clear waivers to be sent down, Dorsett does not.  My gut feeling is that it’s Dorsett that gets sent down.  I don’t think that the Blue Jackets want to risk losing Picard, but you never know with this team.  Tonight the Jackets are facing the worst team in the NHL, standings wise at least.

The Islanders are without their franchise goaltender, Rick Dipietro.  The Blue Jackets are without Pascal Leclaire, so it will be Fredrik Norrena starting in net again. Here are the lines tonight according to Puck-Rakers

Huselius - Umberger - Nash
Jason Chimera - Derick Brassard - Jake Voracek
Raffi Torres - Michael Peca - Fredrik Modin
Andrew Murray - Manny Malhotra - Jared Boll

The defensive pairings will stay the same as they always are.

It’s going to be interesting to see who the Jackets send down, it’s a risk to put Picard on waivers, but then again Dorsett has been playing well, and is entertaining.  This should be a good game to watch, especially if the Jackets put up the same effort they did against the Blackhawks they will definitely get the two points out of it.

Sorry this is such a quick post, but I have to go to class.  Go Jackets! smile
