Tonight the Blue Jackets have the opportunity to sweep the season series against the Avs. It can be done. The Avs are battered, and without the services of their captain, Sakic.
We have to play smart hockey. We have to play the same way we did against the Sharks.
Dan LaCosta in nets, and there may be some scratches, due to the flu which is making it’s way through everyone apparently. Methot has been hit hard and according to Puck-Rakers has lost six pounds.
Commodore and Voracek are back in tonight. That’s the good news.
The other good news - Mason is looking like he will be back on Friday against the Wings.
A win against the Avs would be HUGE, this is one of the teams that is by us in the standings, and since Foote isn’t playing tonight, the fans need to focus on cheering their team on to victory.
And a big congrats to Norway and OKT. Ole-Kristian Tollefsen is the only player in the NHL from Norway. And, it looks like he will be representing Norway in the Olympics. I honestly couldn’t be happier for Ole. He’s one of those guys you can’t help but love…unless you’re Kotalik of course.

*I’m getting that feeling in the bottom of my stomach that we are going to make a trade soon, before the deadline, of course we need to get healthy first.
