He’s back…

It’s Friday the 13th, the Blue Jackets have sent goaltender Dan LaCosta down to Syracuse and you know what that means…he’s back!! Steve Mason, the Blue Jackets savior, no longer has mono, and will be starting against the Red Wings tonight.
Which I guess isn’t good news for Henrik Zetterberg. In a recent media call here’s how it went.
Reporter: “Who has been the toughest goaltender you’ve faced this season, and why?”
Zetterberg: “Well, the toughest goaltender we faced this year you know what? I will say Columbus.”
Reporter: “Steve Mason.”
Zetterberg: “Yes, he’s been playing very well against us. We have them a few more times (this season), and I think that will be the toughest goaltender so far.”
Reporter: “Have the Blue Jackets really surprised you? They’ve been holding their own this season.”
Zetterberg: “Yeah, they’ve been playing good. They’ve been playing solid games altogether, and they are working hard. When they have good goaltending, it makes it a lot easier for them.”
Few random notes about the Jackets:
*A big congrats to to Jan Hejda who became a daddy again. His little boy, Matheas weighed 8 lbs 9 oz and 20.47 inches.
*Dorsett and Murray are out tonight, that means Novotny is in. Dorsett is still plagued with the flu, and Murray has back spasms.
*Here are the lines for tonight:
Huselius - Malhotra - Nash
Modin - Umberger - Novotny
Chimera - Williams - Voracek
Torres - Peca - Boll
I’ll miss the first period because I’m working. But, never fear, I will have my post game up, and I’m sure I will join A2Y’s liveblog. AND, look out for my special Valentine’s Day post tomorrow.
