Jackets vs. Coyotes

The Jackets are playing the twin’s team tonight. It’s going to be a good game, as all the Coyotes and Jackets are. The Coyotes are young and have tons of talent with Kyle Turris, Kevin Porter (who is not a relative, for the record), and Viktor Tikhonov (there is more, but you get the idea). The Jackets should be well rested, their last game was Saturday.
Steve Mason will be playing for his fourth win tonight, his fourth straight start. Leclaire is said to be ready to play, but I doubt they will take him off IR today, Norrena will likely serve as the backup. Again, I could be wrong. If Mason wins this fourth game, I seriously doubt that Syracuse will see #1 in net again. But, then what do the Jackets do? We can hold three goaltenders, but not for very long, it just doesn’t make sense.
Our defense is communicating well with Mason, and each other also. So, if Klesla comes back, who is the odd man out? My guess is Tollefsen, but he hasn’t been bad for us.
Our chemistry is really developing, and we are coming off three wins in a row, let’s hope the streak continues. Also, with our time off I’m hoping to see an improvement in our special teams. A power play goal would be great!
The Coyotes are also coming off a big win against the San Jose Sharks at home and Bryzgalov had a fabulous game. He’ll likely be in net for the Coyotes.
That’s all for now, I’m off to school, and then off to the game. Go Jackets!
UPDATE: Oh yeah, I was wrong. Leclaire is playing backup, and Rusty is in. No word yet on who is the healthy scratch, should know anyone minute.
