Norrena signed in Sweden?

I was getting ready to write about the game when I read this. Norrena signed in Sweden. Uhm, wait, what? He has every right to leave, he’s not playing, however, he does have to ask permission.

So I went to the link he provided that claimed he had signed, translated it, and here is what I got:

It was last week that HockeyExpressen.se revealed that the Finnish star goalie Fredrik Norrena, who previously played in Elitserien with Hobart and Frölunda, is on the way back to Hobart. Enligt uppgifterna ska Linköping redan vara överens med Norrena. According to the data is already Ennis will be consistent with Norrena.
Nu återstår det bara att lösa finländaren från hans NHL-klubb Columbus Blue Jackets. All that remains now is just to solve the Finn from his NHL club Columbus Blue Jacket. UPDATE: Word from the agent, Larry Kelly:

“Absolutely no truth to it,” Kelly said. “We’ve been getting calls from all over the place ... Russia and all over Europe, but Freddy is committed to making it work in Columbus. He doesn’t want to go. He has a contract and we plan on honoring it.

“I’ve been around a long time. These situations always play themselves out. And for a guy like Norrena—who is such a quality goaltender and such a good person—there’s always a need for a guy like that.”

Norrena has been the odd man out since rookie Steve Mason took over the Blue Jackets’ No. 1 job. He’s 6-2-1 with a .922 save percentage. Pascal Leclaire is the other active goaltender.

“Look, what Steve Mason’s doing is great for the organization, and it’s great for that young man,” Kelly said. “It’s a great story. And if I know Fredrik Norrena, he’s been nothing but supportive throughout the entire situation.”
