I am officially a member of Kukla’s, I can’t believe it. You can count on me for all the latest news on the Blue Jackets, prospects and all. If you don’t know who I am, here is what you need to know. I started Bethany’s Hockey Rants in January 2007, and have been a member of HLOG since February 2007, and I love the Blue Jackets. I am absolutely thrilled to be blogging on Kukla’s Korner, and starting a rivalry of some sort with Abel to Yzerman.
Now, onto the fun stuff.
As you know, camp starts on Friday. All of the Blue Jackets are in Columbus, except those who are in Traverse City for the Rookie Tournament. Jakub Voracek was asked to sit out because the Blue Jackets have seen enough. He doesn’t need to prove himself to anyone, which isn’t exactly surprising. Voracek is expected to make the team out of training camp.
Nikita Filatov is still nursing a hairline fracture on his fibula. Filatov is hopefully going to be ready to go a few days after camp begins. I am just hoping he will be in for some of the pre-season games so I can get a better feel for him.
Tapeleg has been attending the Blue Jackets scrimmages during the day and has some great photos up on his blog. Like everyone else, I am ready for the season to start, and am excited to write about the Jackets here!! If you have any questions, or comments, please feel free to contact me.
