The four game winless streak is finished. I’m not too thrilled with the game last night. There was not a bit of rythym to it, and well, if there was, I didn’t see it.
There weren’t very many positives from the game. Four power play goals and one short-handed goal were allowed last night. On a good note, Steve Mason was not at fault for most of the goals, blame the defense who offered him no help.

I apologize for this post taking so long to get up, but my computer decided to crap out on me yesterday afternoon, right when I started NaNoWriMo. But, I am back in action now thanks to the wonderful guy at the Genius Bar.
Anyway onto the game, the Blue Jackets lost to the Chicago Blackhawks last night in a shootout. No shocker there, whenever we go to a shootout I just expect to lose. We very rarely score, and I don’t know what the problem is. Well I know what the problem was tonight, we were facing a goalie who wanted to win. My mom insists it’s the speed that they go down, but I don’t agree. We have the skill, we just struggle on breakaways. I personally thought it was interesting that Rick Nash was put in on the shootout. He is 0-8 on breakaways this season, and is in a bit of a point slump, but what can you do. Here’s who I would have put in on the shootout, Brassard, Voracek, and Chimera...yup, the goat line.
