- School Your Pool has an interview with Cody Hodgson.
- Flames gave Lawrence Nycholat a new home. From NucksMisconduct: “If he’s truly gone, I’ll miss him and his turnovers tremendously.”
- Apparently Mike Gillis would trade Alex Burrows... if someone offered him 10 first round draft picks. Sounds like a serious risk, that.
- Love The Province’s Tony Gallagher? Then you’ll be glad to know “Tony Talks.” And it gets worse: he sings.
- This FP article yesterday (excellent, btw; read it) is the first I knew the Aquilinis—the Canucks owners—own every Pizza Hut in BC. (Between their team and their pizza, that family demonstrates a pathological disinterest in your cardiac health).

How can I not make a reference? Seriously, Pizza Hut! I’d feel safer eating the tires on my Chevy…

True I haven’t had pizza hut in a long long time. But, saying that, does that mean you never eat pizza? Because that’s simply wrong (my Italian heritage notwithstanding)!

Don’t worry, I eat pizza, but I usually make it myself. Honestly, the take-out options here don’t much resemble anything related to your Italian heritage.
Hell. Now I’m hungry…

About Canucks & Beyond
Alanah McGinley has been blogging hockey since 2003 (with a notable gap in time through 2010, kicking it with new baby Lucy while living knee-deep in chaos while reading “parenting for complete idiots” during every spare minute) sharing opinions, rants and not-so-deep thoughts with anyone who will listen.
In addition to writing Canucks & Beyond and helping manage Kukla’s Korner, Alanah was one of the founders and co-hosts of The Crazy Canucks Podcast. She has contributed pieces to FoxSports.com and the New York Times Slapshot blog, as well as other stray destinations in cyberspace.

I’m going to start donating a nickel for every C&B reference to heart failure. if ONLY I started it in the beginning of the season, I could have afforded air fare to Vancouver to see a game! Sigh…
