Canucks Car Jerseys

For a bit of zip, a Vancouver Canucks fan can drive around the city this winter wearing the newest Canucks jersey… on their car.
The wrapped vehicles - autographed by Canucks players including Markus Naslund, Roberto Luongo and Willie Mitchell (pictured) - will be parked throughout downtown Vancouver for the next year. Anyone interested in driving them can do so by signing up for a Zipcar membership. For every hour the Canucks-wrapped Zipcars are on the road over the next year, the company will donate a portion of the fee to the children’s fund.
(I’m not the biggest fan of the new jerseys, but I do want that car quite badly all of a sudden…)

Killing might be extreme. But then again… yeah, it’s worth a little bloodshed at the very least.

How Much? I’m guessing $100 an hour. And, as long as I get a tax deductible receipt for a charitable donation,... you bet I’ll be rippin’ around the city in that little ride.
Too bad it’s not a Corvette or a Porshe!! Actually,.. it looks like a Subaru,.. how can they do that when GM is obviously a rather major sponsor of the team??
Anyhow,... yeah,.. I’m in,....

It’s only $11.75/hr or $87.50 for the whole day!
Can everyone say,.. “Whistler Trip!”
And, it’s a Pontiac Vibe,.. which is made by GM,.. so it all makes sense.

Making plans already, Vancouver Dave?! I love it too. I might just have to get someone to paint my own boring, white GM car…

For some players it’s just a number, for others it is a vital component in a superstitious ritual and for rare players, it is the mark that identifies their career. Players have been wearing numbers on their backs since the Patrick brothers moved to the west coast of Canada in the early 1900’s. When the Canucks joined the NHL, jersey numbers were the only way to identify some players (names were added several years later).

I’m the farthest thing from a “car person” around (I want it to be efficient and reliable, and that’s about all)...
But I would kill someone for that car.
I’d be terrified to drive it because it might get a dent, though!
