Canucks Pick Weaver off the Wire

The Vancouver Canucks have picked up defenseman Mike Weaver off waivers from the Pittsburgh Penguins. According to the stats at the NHLPA website, Weaver’s salary for this season is $600,000.

With some NHL experience, he might get a call up before Coulumbe would, then again he might not.
