Dan Hinote Wants You to Survive Your Hangover

via Earthtimes, this press release with comments from the CEO of DC Brands, Richard Pearce:

“It is a very interesting story of how Dan became involved with our company. Through an acquaintance, we were able to provide him with a few samples of our H.A.R.D. Nutrition Functional Water Systems products, including our Get Over It Hangover Relief and Whacked Energy, for his bachelor party. Needless to say, it was a big hit.”

Apparently the product worked. Dan “got whacked” then “got over it” and now he’s their spokesperson.  But even Dan wonders if it’s all too good to be true…

[Dan Hinote:] “There has got to be something in that stuff. It just works too well. I don’t ever want to skate again without it.”

Dr. Bob informed Mr. Hinote that nothing in any of their products would be considered a banned substance.

Well, if “Dr. Bob” says it’s okay, then it MUST be good, right?

But if I’m Dan, I’d maybe run this stuff by his trainers at the St. Louis Blues.  After all, I’m not sure how far a professional athlete should trust a doctor who goes by the moniker “Dr. Bob” (his name is actually Richard Nikkel) and dispenses nutrition advice on a website known as The Wisdom of Dr. Bob.

This is all gonna end in tears one day, I’m telling ya… smile

This is the first I ever heard there was such a thing as “coconut water”.  But regardless, I’m thinking that the ibuprofen is the critical element in your Whiskey cure-all. smile
