Kukla's Korner

Canucks & Beyond

Depression,  Booze & Canucks Talk

imageFrom The Crazy Canucks,

Good day, and welcome to episode #50. This is a long overdue one, and there were some technical difficulties that occurred before this episode saw the light of day. Regardless, we push forward, sadly without our good pal Dave, but he shall return. Alanah actually joins us about twenty minutes in, and hilarity ensues.

The basic lowdown to this recording is that we are just as baffled as you are about our beloved team. There are no easy answers other than trying to pick ourselves up and work hard at being a better team on the ice. The recent 3-0 loss to Nashville is fresh on our mind, and it hasn’t been that much better before that.

Basically, this is a mix of topics combined with alcohol. Over Skype. Tread lightly.

Note: While recording this episode, we decided to coin a new term:
WWBBD™—What would Brian Burke Do? ™ (Don’t ask…)

About Canucks & Beyond

Alanah McGinley has been blogging hockey since 2003 (with a notable gap in time through 2010, kicking it with new baby Lucy while living knee-deep in chaos while reading “parenting for complete idiots” during every spare minute) sharing opinions, rants and not-so-deep thoughts with anyone who will listen.

In addition to writing Canucks & Beyond and helping manage Kukla’s Korner, Alanah was one of the founders and co-hosts of The Crazy Canucks Podcast.  She has contributed pieces to FoxSports.com and the New York Times Slapshot blog, as well as other stray destinations in cyberspace.

So that’s me. Who the hell are you? smile
