Linden Chats with ESPN

From ESPN’s “Pardon the Interruption”, Tony Kornheiser (a.k.a. The Most Annoying Man on Earth When He Talks About Hockey) and Michael Wilbon chat with Trevor Linden about some NHL playoffs storylines.

Some pretty good, quick analysis from Linden on Alex Ovechkin, Sidney Crosby, and the East & West playoff races—which he figures will ultimately come down to a Devils/Sharks final.

Don’t you love it when they are reading their questions from paper...none of that stuff was coming off the top of their heads, like Trevor.

You think Trevor is auditioning for a new line of work???

If that show was that interesting all the time, i might tune in from time to time.  Trev needed a better shirt but he is a treat to listen to - politics? or coaching? or business? any guesses on what’s next for BC’s fave adopted lad?

He was very good in this—a natural at the quick analysis and answering the questions thrown at him.

But something GZ Expat has been saying for almost two years has really been sticking with me: Linden needs to eventually head towards coaching.  I have a feeling he’s going to be amazing at it.

Meanwhile, I doubt it will be politics or any major business venture.  But at least a few short terms gigs on some TV networks are probably in his future.

Pratt and Taylor (Vancouver sports show) talked about Linden as a replacement for Larsheid, when he retires.

I dismissed it until I saw this. Some work needed but possible.

Besides he could run for Mayor and win in Vancouver.
