The NHL Tournament of Logos is always producing fun ideas and here are a couple I saw today that made me laugh. New concepts for the Predators and the Red Wings:
I didn’t bother looking for their latest Vancouver ones—after all, the historical reality is bad enough. And besides, no Canucks concept logo could ever be more awesome than this one:

Btw, challenged by a friend, here are my captions for the Predators and Red Wings logos at the top:
Predators: “Are you checking out my ass?”
Red Wings: “Detroit Meets George Orwell.”

Yeah Matt, that Pfizer Canucks design was front and center last summer when everyone was anticipating the new jerseys. That is still the coolest one so far!
Alanah- First thing that comes to my mind about the Preds logo: “The Preds are flying right now! Oh wait, they forgot something….oh right Steve Sullivan….he broke his ankle on the jump!”

That Predator seems to have a broken wrist, if you catch my drift. Not that there’s anything wrong with that, of course.
