This Canucks photo gallery reveals Roberto Luongo’s newest mask.
Honestly, it’s kinda freakin’ me out. Perhaps it’ll freak out his opponents, too? I’ll live in hope…

The artwork is impressive, but I’m not sure how I feel about the image overall. And as far as your question, is it Johnny Canuck? Well, maybe…
Either him or Lawrence of Arabia, anyway.

That’s really striking—very inventive. I like it.
Maybe he is planning on using it like the eyespots on the hindwings of some butterflies—to startle goalscorers (predators) enough to make them pause and miss the net.

His mask screamed one thing when I saw it…
THIS IS VANCOUVER!

I’m so excited that Luongo has chosen to put Tom of Finland on the back of his helmet.

Is Johnny Canuck smoking a joint? This might just make up for the uniforms…

Comedy gold Mason! I guess it would fit in with the “this is Vancouver” theme

I think it’s a great mask except for the RBK logo painted right above the eyes. Evidently that was part of some contractual agreement, or something because I don’t think that Luongo would *choose* to put the logo on there just because he loves RBK.
All in all, it’s a pretty cool design, though.

LOL @ Lawrence of Arabia.
Great artwork though, the more I look at it the more I like it.

What do you think about it Alanah?
I love it myself, the artwork is really something.
Is that supposed to resemble Johnny Canuck?
The outline seems to resembles past pictures of him.
