via Yahoo! Sports:
The Vancouver Canucks and Anaheim Ducks both have the opportunity to make franchise history when the teams meet on Wednesday.
After winning each of the first three meetings this campaign, the Canucks are seeking their first season sweep of the Ducks in the 14-year history of the Anaheim franchise.
Meanwhile, the Ducks enter Wednesday’s contest on a seven-game home win streak and are looking to win eight in a row at the Honda Center for the first time in franchise history.
Win 8 in a row at home? Pffft. Big deal. But sweep the reigning Stanley Cup Champions who also happen to be the most recent team to obliterate the playoff hopes of Canucks’ fans? Now that’s something to shoot for.
