Sportsnet.ca is reporting:
Canucks forward Brendan Morrison will see his consecutive games streak of 542 end on Wednesday night when he sits out vs. the Anaheim Ducks.
Morrison injured his wrist in the pre-season and the injury continues to nag him, so he has been sent back to Vancouver for treatment.
His streak is currently the longest in the NHL. The all-time record is held by the Montreal Canadiens’ Doug Jarvis with 964.
