Earlier today, Vancouver claimed Ossi Vaananen off waivers from the Philadelphia Flyers.
I don’t know much about the guy—frankly, it’s liable to take me the rest of this season and half of next just to learn how to spell his name correctly—but fortunately the good people at Canucks.com put together a dynamite highlight video of all Ossi’s greatest moments:
Ok. Did you watch it? Are you a bit bewildered? ‘Cause apparently it was just one goal in one game that makes up the entirely of Vaananen’s career highlights. Super stuff there.
Fortunately, oodles more Vaananen on Youtube. (And he can even take out the referees, in a pinch…).
