There is no press release or mainstream media confirmation of this, but it seems possible that former Canuck Jozef Balej is a Vancouver Canuck. The only substantial indication is that he’s listed as such on the NHL.com website (but that’s proven to be an accurate source in recent weeks). So, it seems likely that Balej is heading back to North America after a year on the Swiss team Fribourg-Gotteron.
Balej played one game for the Canucks and 39 for the Moose in the 2005-06 season.

*my sincere thanks to the friend who dropped me a line about this. cheers!

Michael Turner— Not high-fashion, you don’t think? ![]()
The Chief Canuck— Fedorov? Well, after a distinguishing career of pissing off nearly everyone he worked for in the NHL, he’s been hanging out overseas. For good, I’d imagine.
Brushback— Exactly.
Bethany— Perhaps he blinds them with his hair and then works his scoring magic? (Just a theory…)
Paul— That’s just spooky.
