Ryan Johnson Signed to the Canucks

For two years, $1.15 million per. 

The Canucks: The World’s Best 4th Line Team.  Trini sums up Day 1 in the comments of last night’s post:

It looks more like Mellanby putting his stamp on this team with familiar Blues players. Can this get any worse? Oh wait - I forgot about that $20 million offer.

Let’s see what Day 2 brings us. Perhaps Mark Messier would like to make a come-back.

Update 9:36pm PT: Marian Hossa has signed in Detroit. Wow.

Giles has no idea what he is doing.  Might have been a good agent.

He just signed another weak scorer to replace the weak one that left.

He is simply going to assemble a bunch of players that play for money not the enjoyment of the game.

Hopefully he maxes out the salary cap soon so we don’t have two many more 4th liners. 

I can’t stand it anymore - 2008 2009 - the race for 8th.
