Sundin a Game Time Decision

From Iain MacIntyre of the Vancouver Sun:
Sundin skated with Vancouver Canuck teammates this morning after missing Sunday’s 3-2 win against the St. Louis Blues due to a mysterious lower-body injury. But the 38-year-old, signed to a one-year, $8.6-million US contract in December to give the Canucks scoring depth and experience at playoff time, told reporters after the skate it will be a game-time decision whether he plays tonight against the Blues.
The Blues’ Paul Kariya, on the other hand, has supposedly already been ruled-out for tonight’s game.
For more on the Sundin question mark, read Matthew Sekeres at the Globe & Mail.
In other news, the Globe & Mail also provides reasons to call Keith Tkachuk a failure. Well, a post-season failure, anyway. Perhaps he’s like the one-man-equivalent of the entire San Jose Sharks team...?
I know, I know, that’s a bit snotty, and the kind of comment that’s liable to come back and haunt a girl when the puck drops tonight. So, I’ll take it back… for now. ![]()

In addition to writing Canucks & Beyond and helping manage Kukla’s Korner, Alanah was one of the founders and co-hosts of The Crazy Canucks Podcast. She has contributed pieces to FoxSports.com and the New York Times Slapshot blog, as well as other stray destinations in cyberspace.
