The new My NHL ad which debuted last weekend features Daniel and Henrik Sedin*.
Most people have probably seen it by now—I should’ve put this up sooner—but I figure it’s good to keep it handy:
Update: Here’s a large screenshot from the video, courtesy of the NHL. Use it for wallpaper. (And I don’t mean computer wallpaper… print a whole pile of them and wallpaper your family room.)
I’ve been moaning forever about the NHL having no sense of humor in their advertising, but I’m really going to have to shut up about it. This video at Japer’s Rink today is another clever piece of work.

I saw this on youtube and it’s great, I really like them comparing what tips they got.
I keep wondering if the NHL changed ad agencies (or whoever is in charge of the advertising) because these are so much better than last year.

John— Ah… but disturbing in a good way!
Ali— I don’t know for sure, but it sure seems likely. Definitely a more creative, fun approach though. A huge improvement from the Gladiator campaign from a couple years ago, I think almost everyone would agree.

I think it’s a tie for me which one is funnier this one or the Sedin twins. (although I do have a soft spot for Brad Richards and Vinnie Lecavalier’s ...but that’s fan bias).
