Catching up on hockey blogs over the weekend, I came across the video (below) referenced by David Staples. In his words, “It’s so bad, it’s kinda good.”
Geez, I don’t know. This thing is so bad, it’s probably worse than you expect.
Set to the music of Greenday (to a song that I personally found intolerable, even in its original version) here is “Wake Me Up When Burke and Lowe are Friends.”
An homage to the angst, pain and sadness of lost love—the lost love of Brian Burke and Kevin Lowe.
Funny, but acoustically painful. Listen at your own risk.

About Canucks & Beyond
Alanah McGinley has been blogging hockey since 2003 (with a notable gap in time through 2010, kicking it with new baby Lucy while living knee-deep in chaos while reading “parenting for complete idiots” during every spare minute) sharing opinions, rants and not-so-deep thoughts with anyone who will listen.
In addition to writing Canucks & Beyond and helping manage Kukla’s Korner, Alanah was one of the founders and co-hosts of The Crazy Canucks Podcast. She has contributed pieces to FoxSports.com and the New York Times Slapshot blog, as well as other stray destinations in cyberspace.
