Chelios - Wants To be a Blueshirt?

Roenick scored 513 goals in his career and comes from a great generation of American hockey players. There’s Mike Modano, who has 543 goals and has spent an entire career with one organization. And if you thought Tom Watson was impressive, imagine being in Chris Chelios’ skates.
Chelios is a former teammate of Roenick who just concluded a lengthy stint with the Red Wings. He’s 47 years old, playing a brutally physical sport and showing no signs of retiring.
“Chelly wants to play until he’s 50,” Roenick said. “Chelly wants to play in New York, for the Rangers and Glen Sather. And I’ll tell you this: No person had a bigger effect on my career.
