Drury - Should he Have played?

I posed this question on my latest entry for SNYRangersblog.com and now, I am asking the same of all readers at Kukla’s Korner.
As Larry Brooks mentioned in his article in The New York Post, New York Rangers team captain Chris Drury played through the first round of the Stanley Cup playoffs with a broken hand. This would explain why he didn’t shoot the puck much, why he had one hand on the stick a lot of the time and also why he seemed extremely tentative with the puck.
Do you think that Drury should have sat out so that the team could utilize someone who would be more effective or do you think that Drury did the right thing by playing?
What are your thoughts?

My thoughts exactly, Shane.
Although, with no one able to score, what’s the harm in putting someone other than Aaron Voros in Drury’s place for a game?

Who would have played in Drury’s place? Maybe there were no better options than a broken handed Chris?
