For All You Hockey Video Game Fans Out There

While missing live NHL hockey, it’s days like this when hockey nuts out there would have a cold one(or juice) and play some video game hockey.
With that in mind, here’s an interesting post from a friend of mine: From Scotty Wazz at The Strangest One of All:
With Joe Sakic, Claude Lemieux, and evidently Mats Sundin all calling it a career this week (or will eventually....we’re looking at you Mats), you can almost tell that the era of NHL ‘94 could be in its twillight. It’s almost like the “Techno Bowl” in football, NHL ‘94 seems to be the gauge on how old we all are and why we won against the computer with the offsides turned off.
So, with those three big timers leaving-- who is left amongst those where were in NHL ‘94. And yes, I’m well aware that didn’t make sense-- there were nouns and verbs, but all jumbled together. Deal with it.

Shane Doan is in the game too. He will be the last one. What a tremendous honor!!!
Bruins have a great team in that one, but your top line needs to be
Juneau
Donato
Pataleyev (if speed is 80), otherwise Leach or Neely
Sweeney (best D in the game, knocking down everything)
Bourque or Wesley

ahh nhl 94… I was always a homer and remember the insanely bad goalending for the wings..Cheveldae and Reindeau.. Wow...Chaisson, Yves Racine, Gerard Gallant, Shawn Burr, oh and dont forget Dallas Drake. Good Times. Because of that game I know own NHL 09 and play on a regular basis. Great post!

About Goal Line Report
The Goal Line Report will focus on all things Eastern Conference. Do I have a bias towards the Eastern Conference just because I am a New Yorker? No, but it certainly does make things easier! I’ll make my opinions known on Eastern Conference news bits (as often as I can), big games, hot and cold players, trades (I don’t make things up) and anything and everything else related to the Eastern Conference that I think is important for hockey fans to know. I will, in every sense of the word, be the beast of the East while also making sure to drop my thoughts on other hockey news items.
I, Patrick Hoffman, have covered the NHL since 2003 and have worked for a variety of hockey media sources including: Stan Fischler, Spector’s Hockey, TheHockeyNews.com, HockeyBuzz.com, McKeen’s Hockey, Blueshirt Bulletin, XM Home Ice Channel Hockey Blog, HockeyPrimeTime.com, FantasyHockey.com. NY SportsDay, and HokejaVestnesis.com.
