Julien to be Cautious with Media

Claude Julien is apparently tired of seeing his critical words about members of the Bruins get, in his words, “twisted” by the media, so he told reporters Tuesday he will no longer talk about individual players.
It could be for the time being, or it could be for the rest of the season.
Without referencing specifics, the Bruins coach said his words have been “twisted” and that he’s been criticized by media members for “throwing players under the bus” when he talks critically of them.
The message is clearly about Julien’s comments last week about struggling defenseman Dennis Wideman, and the reaction that it sparked both inside and outside the locker room. But he never got into specifics during a largely testy exchange with a group of assembled print, web and television reporters at Ristuccia Arena.
“I’m just going to keep my answers pretty plain, because when I say too much some people tend to twist it whatever way they want,” said Julien. “So I’m just going to keep it to internal things.”
