Over on his terrifice Rangers’ blog, The Rangers Tribune, Nicholas Montemagno is doing profiles on the club’s free agents.
This morning, he had this to say about Vinny Prospal:
Stating that forward Vinny Prospal was a pleasant surprise for the New York Rangers this season would be an understatement. He was brought here last season just to be given a chance after being bought out by the Tampa Bay Lightning. General manager Glen Sather signed the veteran Czech for one year at $1.1 million, which we all thought was reasonable originally. At the time, little did Sather/we know that New York had just signed their second best offensive player for the year.
He also did one on Olli Jokinen yesterday. Continue to check out his site!
