More Rangers Third Jersey Info

According to SNYRangersBlog.com, the team’s new third jersey could end up looking something like this:
At Icethetics, they have the information on what the Rangers third jersey will look like this season.
They say that it will have NEW YORK across the front but in a different font than the one the team currently uses.
They also write that:
In addition, there is a thick red stripe that wraps around the sleeves and bottom of the jersey, bordered in thinner vintage white stripes. The collar is vintage white with vintage white laces and the little Reebok triangle is red.
Not quite sure what to think folks. I may be in the minority but I liked the Liberty Jersey that the team used from 1997 - 2007. It was a great color, had an awesome logo and worked out well for them in the 1997 playoffs.
What do you folks think?

Yeah I own a Liberty jersey as well, that is one of the all time great jerseys IMO.

Yeah, me too. I got the one season (98-99) starter white version done up with Gretzky’s name & number.
I wonder why they only used that one for one season? Maybe it had something to do with it be Gretzky’s last season? Or maybe it had something to do with it being a white jersey. Not many third/alternate white jerseys.
