Puck Daddy’s Top 10 Free-Agent Wingers

From Greg Wyshynski at Puck Daddy:
When news was floating around that the Sedins were close to inking back with the Canucks, we delayed this ranking. Taking Daniel Sedin(notes) out of the equation does affect the rest of the wingers, albeit minimally because he’s obviously a package deal. If the Sedins are re-signed before noon, then add Steve Sullivan(notes) of the Nashville Predators to the list.
It’s an intriguing list because there are some real risk/reward situations here. Marian Gaborik(notes), in particular, could be the signing of the year if he can stay healthy; yet there’s a better chance that the new “G.I. Joe” flick wins Best Picture than that happening, based on Gabby’s track record.

About Goal Line Report
The Goal Line Report will focus on all things Eastern Conference. Do I have a bias towards the Eastern Conference just because I am a New Yorker? No, but it certainly does make things easier! I’ll make my opinions known on Eastern Conference news bits (as often as I can), big games, hot and cold players, trades (I don’t make things up) and anything and everything else related to the Eastern Conference that I think is important for hockey fans to know. I will, in every sense of the word, be the beast of the East while also making sure to drop my thoughts on other hockey news items.
I, Patrick Hoffman, have covered the NHL since 2003 and have worked for a variety of hockey media sources including: Stan Fischler, Spector’s Hockey, TheHockeyNews.com, HockeyBuzz.com, McKeen’s Hockey, Blueshirt Bulletin, XM Home Ice Channel Hockey Blog, HockeyPrimeTime.com, FantasyHockey.com. NY SportsDay, and HokejaVestnesis.com.

I actually think the Habs are better off than the Rangers. If Montreal can sign Hossa or Gaborick they might be pretty good. That’s a solid #1 line.....The Rangers still need a #1 center and #1 winger and they don’t have enough money for both.
